Weekly Budget Plan

It doesn't matter if you're a single mom or dad, if you're happily married and have 16 children, if you're a millionaire and make money hand over fist, if you're a professional athlete, if you work at a restaurant, if you're a janitor, or if you own your own small business. None of that matters because everything we do in all that we do revolves around one thing, and that is money. And there is something that all of us need to do to ensure that we stay in control of our money, and that is a very simple thing called setting up a weekly budget plan. While it may not seem to be as important to someone rich, these principles and practices are good for everybody.

Now, I know a lot of us don't like the idea of setting up a weekly budget plan because we're afraid that were not very good with numbers. Look, this is very simple and not starting you on the path to become an accountant. All it is is figuring out how much money comes in and how much money goes out. The easiest thing you can do is simply make two columns on a sheet of paper title one as income and the other as expenses. Obviously the expenses column is going to be noticeably longer as you start to list all of your bills all of your regular weekly things you pay for, like lunch and groceries and gas. But, Now you can see it is nothing to be scared about. We're not doing taxes here, all we're doing is helping you get a visual image of your cash flow.

There are an awful lot of helpful services out there, many of them are free and on the Internet, that will provide you with spreadsheets, plans, and even helpful financial advice. So there's no reason for you to be skittish about your financial situation. Even if it is a financial situation that you're not particularly proud of, the only way for you to grow is to identify where money is slipping away and to gain control over it. But the first step, but taking the time to sit down for an hour or two and to list out all of your expenses in your income, is the most critical step when coming up with a weekly budget plan. What this plan will do, especially if you use a very detailed spreadsheet to help, will enable you to carry that visual image of where your money is going. This helps you identify problem areas, and start to realize and see which debts bills you can do without, or trim or cut out entirely. All to help you gain financial control and freedom over your life.
